Property Assessment: Then we assess the current home to determine its market value and discuss potential updates or repairs to maximize its appeal.

Creating a Plan

Downsizing Strategy: Together with the homeowner we create a customized right-sizing plan, including finding a new, more suitable home that meets the senior's current and future needs. Timeline: Together, we establish a clear timeline for selling the current property and transitioning into a new home.

Decluttering and Organising

Assistance with Sorting: Working with professional organizers we are able to provide resources to help homeowners sort through belongings, deciding what to keep, donate and sell. Estate Sale Coordination: If needed, we can help coordinate estate sales or auctions for items homeowners choose not to take with them.

Home Preparation

Staging: We may recommend staging the home to appeal to more potential buyers. Repairs and Upgrades: We advise on any necessary repairs or upgrades that can increase the home's value and help coordinate these services.

Marketing and Selling

Marketing the Home: We list the home on multiple platforms, organize open houses, and market it to attract buyers.  Negotiations: Once the home is on the market we organize viewings, present offers and offer our professional advice so you can choose the offer that’s best for you.

Finding a New Space

Home Search: We help find new homes that fit the senior's needs, whether it's a smaller house, condo, apartment or assisted living facility. Assistance with Moving: We can provide referrals to trusted moving companies experienced to help relocate.

Transition Support

Closing Day: Our team manages the closing process for both the sale of the old home and the purchase of the new one. Post-Move Support: We always follow-up to ensure our senior clients are settling into their new space well. It’s important that our clients settle in their new space with comfort and ease.
